Relax Investments Financial Services Ltd (Relax-Investments.com) was founded in 2007 by a group of inspired financial professionals, building on their long experience in the financial markets. We are one of the leading international companies competing in the forex markets. Our strategic objective is to become one of the largest and most successful financial institutions in the provision of forex trading services, while at the same time achieving high returns for investors.

In 2009 we changed our company name from Central European Financial Services Ltd - to Relax Investments Financial Services Ltd, truly representing the trade name that we have been promoting since our incorporation.

Licenses and Regulation

Relax Investments Financial Services Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Austrian Securities and Exchange Commission (license number 064/07).

The Commission is the regulatory and supervisory authority for the financial services industry in Austria and is a member of the CESR (The Committee of European Securities Regulators).

Our company complies with the European Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and operates under the Austrian Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2007 (Law 144(I)/2007).

Cross Border License

Relax Investments Financial Services Ltd holds a cross border license, authorising the company to provide investment services internationally.

MiFID

The European Parliament and Council adopted the Directive 2004/39/EU, dated 21 April 2004, on Markets in Financial Instruments (the MiFID), which came into effect 1/11/2007 and deems to regulate the markets of financial instruments for provision of investment services and activities within the European Economic Area (EEA). The Directive has also been adopted in Austria (N144(I)/2007).

The European Union's Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (the MiFID) provides a harmonised regulatory regime for investment services within the European Economic Area. The main objectives of the Directive are to increase efficiency, enhance financial transparency, increase competition, and offer greater consumer protection in investment services.

One of the unique principles of MiFID is that an investment firm may freely provide its investment and ancillary services within the territory of another member state and/or a third country, provided that such services are covered by the investment firm's authorisation.
